The Opportunity
- The Project Planner for Construction is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all project activities are aligned with the overall objectives.
- The Project Planner will use advanced planning tools and techniques to support project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project schedules and timelines considering all project phases and milestones.
- Analyze project requirements, scopes, and objectives to determine resource allocation and task sequencing.
- Collaborate with project teams to create feasible construction strategies and methodologies.
- Monitor and update project schedules, identifying potential delays and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate the impact of changes or deviations from the original project plan and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on project schedules, progress, and any anticipated challenges.
- Utilize construction management software and tools to facilitate efficient planning and reporting.
- Iplement best practices to improve scheduling accuracy and project efficiency.
- Compile reports on factors related to projects to assist in the decision-making process.
- Perform other duties related to this function as directed by management to support operations.
Requirements
- Graduate of any four (4) year Engineering Course: Mechanical/Civil/Electrical, preferably with a professional license.
- Professional certifications related to project management or construction planning.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Construction Planning and Scheduling.
- Experience with Philippine government contracts is an advantage.
- Previous experience working in a diverse, dynamic, and fast-paced construction environment.
