Logistics Manager

The Opportunity

As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the transportation, storage, and distribution of heavy equipment and materials for our construction projects. You will be responsible for optimizing logistical operations to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials to project sites while maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiency.


  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline transportation, storage, and distribution processes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory control procedures to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee the maintenance and servicing of company-owned equipment and vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the logistics process.
  • Analyze logistical data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor logistics team members, providing guidance and support to optimize performance.


  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry, minimum of 5-10 years
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, inventory management principles, and logistics software.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating a team.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with external partners.
