Responsibilities
As IMS Internal Auditor (as applicable), assess, verify the daily operations in areas being audited are meeting the requirements of defined specifications, operation procedures according to the ISO
9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 and Essilor Group Quality Systems Policies. Other IMS related functions and activities are as follows:
- Report to top management, effectiveness of QESH management system and any need for improvement as necessary based on Audit findings.
- Performs audit to ensure that hazard identification, risk assessment, environment impact and control, risk management are being done and preparation of reports as necessary.
- Performs audit to ensure that personnel performing risk management is qualified for the task.
- Ensures documentation of processes required by QESH management systems
- Ensures awareness and understanding of relevant and/or applicable legal and other regulatory requirement
- Ensures process stability and improvement through regular audit of PCP and SOP and technically support management (Supervisor and Manager) for QRQC level 2 if necessary.
- Provides technical know-how to production personnel and ensure PCP (Process Control Plan) is always respected as defined by Process Engineering in alignment to GE.
- Proposes SOP as workshop basic standards to be validated by CI team in accordance with Process Engineering to ensure no conflict with PCP.
- Continuous support on improvement activities in the workshop.
Production Supports
- Audits PCP for stability of processes using the PCP alert system (Yellow and Red Card)
- Supports management technically into their responsibility to drive QRQC level 2 through data analysis.
- Provides data analysis on quality issues.
- Enhances SOP thru LIFE format as standard WS reference.
- Recommends projects for quality & productivity, product performance, safety, ergonomics improvement and cost reduction, including optimization of consumables.
- Technically supports management in process sustainability
Engineering Support
- Supports engineering projects implemented and validated, ensuring roll out is well done and sustained.
- Provides relevant information to confirm the project achievement.
Communications
- Acts as technical leader/member of Workshop
- Communicates audit results with drive to close the action
- Provides relevant information.
- Reports weekly Yellow and Red Card communicating through email or updating the system provided.
Continuous Improvement Activities (Support)
- Supports the usage of the tool to achieve the set performance objectives (KPIs) for the workshop.
- Sustains process capability and provide action plan to improve
- Regularly reviews PCP and SOP adherence with workshop management.
Others
- Respects EHS rules; contribute to related audits.
- Promotes Essilor culture and EMPI core values.
- Undertakes other duties as appropriate within his/her competence, as required by superior from time to time.
- Performs BBS audit and 5S audit
Qualifications
- Essential
- Min. requirement, at least completed College education
- Good working knowledge of English (read, write, speak w/ ease)
- With 2 years’ experience in manufacturing set up either as Process or Line Engineer
- Knowledge on Lean Sigma Methodology
- Desirable / Preferable
- Licensed Chemical Engineer or any Engineering course.
