Audit Associate

Job Summary

• As a member of a small, dynamic Internal Audit Team you will fulfill the mission of Internal Audit in providing risk-based and objective Assurance.
• You will be responsible for proper preparation and execution of Audit Engagements in all processes and legal entities of the [Company] Group worldwide, under the guidance of your direct Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Proficiency in Auditing

• Executing Audit Procedures: Performs all necessary steps leading to the execution of an Audit Engagement (AE), plans meeting invitations, prepares data analysis and test steps for the
  workpapers, manages necessary Requests and Questionnaires, as agreed upon with Supervisor / requested by the nature of the AE.
• Leading Audit Procedures: Leads and coordinates towards the fulfillment of the purpose of the Audit Engagement.
• Planning Audit Procedures: Plans the scope of Audit Engagement together with Supervisor.
• Expertise: Applies Accounting and Management knowledge in the definition and execution of control steps.
• Supports Digital Change:
  • Learns key SAP-transactions and reviews SAP Reports in preparation of an Audit.
  • Leverages upon and further develops a set of testing steps related to the Business Processes of the IV Group.
  • Leverages upon and further develops a set of IT Reports and Analysis to support documented test steps.
  • Is open to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills required by special Audit Engagements and accomplishes any required training.
• Audit Engagements:
  • Performs Audit Engagements in foreign Entities of the [Company] Group (worldwide) in coordination and cooperation with Supervisor and according to Annual Audit Plan.
  • Coordinates the work of local Team during Audit Engagements.
  • Consolidates and reports the Findings and Recommendations from Audit Activity in a Deliverable Document (the Audit Report).
  • Shows initiative and autonomy in performing all planned audit steps for the AE; extends the audit work to further areas, whenever necessary.
  • Thoroughly documents performed tests in digital Audit Management Tool: ACL/HighBond.
  • Coordinates with Audit Team in IV SSI ensuring that all findings are properly represented in the audit documentation and followed-up on.
  • Processes all open requests, closes open points, obtains and archives evidence and ensures consistency in audit files.
• Continuous Improvement of Audit Management:
  • Actively engages in the Digitalization Process of the Audit Function, initiates and supports automation of audit tasks, coordinates audit team in IV SSI on automation and digitalization projects.
  • Actively seeks feedback form Auditees and team members and initiates improvements in audit procedures.
  • Runs functions for mass data analysis in ACL:
  • Shows interest and is open to learn routine functions for data analysis in ACL, in order to prepare for audit testing.
  • Is able to interpret and use the output of data analysis generated by IT Data Analyst in Audit Team in IV SSI.
  • Is open to learn how to run functions in ACL to analyze data.
• Continuous Control Monitoring:
  • Supports IT Data Analyst in: turning Audit Steps into IT Tasks and Scripts in ACL (Audit Management and Data Analysis Software), maintaining and further develop the catalogue of Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) controls currently available.
• Addresses and follows-up on all issues detected by means of controls in CCM Catalogue.

ICS and CMS Management

• Reviews all elements of Controls set up in Company’s EGRC System (Observar), from Evidence to underlying Risks, control ownership and so on.
• Ensures consistency of all ICS (Internal Controls System) and CMS (Compliance Management System) controls in the official EGRC Catalogue of the [Company] Group.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of Auditing experience matured in numerous audit engagements (Big 4 background)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables)
• Knowledge of SAP
• Fluency in English
• Openness and eagerness to learn about all necessary IT Tools in support of the Audit Activity

• The assignment profile for this position is recorded in the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Further training plan is offered on ACL platform.
