Application Specialist

The Opportunity

The Application Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Sales Team through product training, demonstrations, installations, and customer follow-up. This role involves working closely with the Sales Team to develop new accounts, maintain account relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction with our product platforms and services.

Responsibilities

  • Product Demonstration and installation
    • Provides technical and clinical leadership during the pre-selling process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers.
    • Determines, prepares and sets-up the equipment and accessories during product demo or installation, performs pre/post delivery inspection (PDI) of the equipment and prepares Arrival Inspection Report (AIR).
    • Develops and maintains a mastery of the product/equipment in order to provide high quality product presentation.
    • Coordinates with the Biomed Engineers and/or Sales Executive for the schedule of product demo and installation.
    • Performs all the duties expected of the Application Specialist, including conducting customer visits, refining product strategy, conducting competitive analysis, delivering quality
      requirements on time, and communicating to internal stakeholders.
  • Training and Sales Support
    • Provides clinical/application support to end users and develop, coordinate and deliver training on software, application and/equipment use thereby maintaining customer relationship after product delivery during installation.
    • Educate the end-users on the proper handling, maintenance and other information that they need to know about the equipment.
    • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training.
    • Represents the Company in attending local and/or foreign product training, conventions and exhibits to enhance relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.

Requirements

  • College Graduate of any allied medical courses
  • With Good Oral and Written Communication skills
  • Above average demonstration and training skills in a clinical environment is a plus
  • With experience in the operation of a particular type of medical equipment or software.
